Given the demand for volunteering opportunities, the charity also acts as a liaison between potential volunteers and the Burkina Faso team.  Given the small, entrepreneurial nature of Paper for All, the preference is to have the volunteers be autonomous for taking care of transportation, accommodation, visa, vaccines, food and equipment. 

There are three types of volunteering and they both target volunteers who want to act as leaders to do the right thing:

 

This is typically the situation of travelers who pass by Ouagadougo, Burkina Faso and desire to help and do the right thing.  Paper for All then act as a liaison between the volunteer and the team on the ground.  The volunteer therefore acts to buy resources, and/or accompany the distribution of the resources bought for a quarterly action.  In the past, several volunteers from different countries have been able to go to Burkina Faso and help Paper for All by either buying and distributing resources to children or teaching.  This is typically a punctual, very impactful way of helping the children in Burkina Faso.  Please contact us at the below address for more information and to volunteer.

 

You are very welcome to come teach to children in Burkina Faso, you do not need to have experience teaching but do need to have at least 18 years old.  You would be autonomous and teach to classes of about 90 children aged between 6 and 14 a few hours a day (the spoken language is French so some knowledge of French is useful).  This is usually a very rewarding experience.  Please contact us at the below address for more information and to volunteer.

We welcome any event organized to fundraise for the charity.  Please contact us if you need materials such as pictures, logos, etc. to help you organize it.  In addition, we may free a fundraising commission to fund these activities.

 

You can also be a leader in your community by helping to develop Paper for All activities in the world.  We currently have teams in France, Burkina Faso and the UK and are in the process of expanding to the US.  Please contact us at the below email address if you feel you have the skills to act as a leader and create a Paper for All sub group to help with communication, fundraising and events in your community.
